The frame is powder-coated aluminium, and aluminium cannot rust, meaning you can leave the set outside all year round. Steel rusts from the inside out — moisture enters through joints and bolt holes where powder coating cannot fully protect. By the time you see rust on the outside, the internal structure is already weakening. This one avoids that entirely. Around the frame, the rattan is hand-woven HDPE, not PVC stuff that fades, cracks and goes brittle after a couple of summers in UV exposure. It’s UV-stabilised as standard, because that’s the minimum a garden set should manage.
