A laid-back 6 seat corner sofa dining set with a wide L-shaped layout for long lunches, evening drinks, and the bit where lunch turns into reading (and then a nap).

The frame is powder-coated aluminium, which cannot rust, meaning you can leave it outside all year round without worrying about the usual steel-frame problems. Steel rusts from the inside out, especially around joints and bolt holes where moisture gets in first. By the time you see rust outside, the frame is already weakening.

The rattan is hand-woven UV-stabilised HDPE (high-density polyethylene), not PVC. PVC rattan is cheaper but it cracks, fades, and becomes brittle after a couple of summers of UV exposure. This HDPE rattan is non-toxic and recyclable.

The corner layout seats six comfortably and gives you support you’ll actually want after hours outside. The table surface wipes clean, and the cushion covers are removable and washable too. All you need to do is store the cushions away when they’re not in use, because cushions are not waterproof—by design. Waterproof cushions can feel clammy, trap heat, and their coating tends to crack in UV over time.

One practical point worth knowing: most full-size corner sets need around a 3m x 3m patio area, and that’s about the size of many standard new-build patios. So if you want seating for six without filling the whole garden with separate chairs, this layout makes good sense.
