Grey Aluminium Rattan 6 Seat Reclining Corner Dining Set

This is a 6-seat corner dining set designed for people who are fed up with sitting upright in the garden like they’re waiting at the dentist. The whole point of reclining furniture is that you can change the angle and settle properly, whether you’re eating, reading or relaxing in the sun.

The frame is powder-coated aluminium, and aluminium cannot rust, meaning you can leave it outside all year round without the usual steel-frame problems. Steel rusts from the inside out — moisture enters through joints and bolt holes where powder coating cannot fully protect. By the time you see orange marks outside, the structure can already be weakened. This set uses hand-woven UV-stabilised HDPE rattan, so you avoid the cracking and fading you can get with PVC rattan after a couple of British summers.

You get the full corner set with the dining table, seat cushions and back cushions included. The cushions are shower-proof, not waterproof by design. Waterproof cushions feel clammy, trap heat and the coating can crack after a couple of summers in UV. Store the cushions when you’re not using them. The covers come off for washing, and the table surface wipes clean for simple day-to-day care.

As a corner dining set, it gives you sociable seating for six and a table height that’s made for meals, not for resting a mug on a low surface. Most full-size corner sets need roughly a 3m x 3m area, which fits a typical new-build patio.
