The frame is powder-coated aluminium, and aluminium cannot rust, meaning you can leave the set outside all year round without worrying about the structure slowly rotting from the inside. That’s the problem with steel-frame garden furniture: moisture gets into joints and bolt holes where coating can’t fully protect it, and by the time rust shows outside, the damage is already well underway. The rattan is hand-woven UV-stabilised HDPE (high-density polyethylene), not PVC, which turns brittle and fades after a couple of summers in UV. In plain terms, this is built for years rather than a few decent seasons.

The table is dining height, which matters more than people think: if the table is too low, you end up perching rather than eating comfortably outside. Cushions are shower-proof rather than waterproof by design—waterproof cushions feel clammy, can trap heat, and the coating tends to crack after a couple of summers in UV. All you need to do is store the cushions when they’re not in use and the frame and rattan can stay put.
