The frame is powder-coated aluminium. Aluminium cannot rust, meaning you can leave the set outside all year round without worrying about the usual steel-frame failure. Steel rusts from the inside out — moisture gets in through joints and bolt holes where powder coating cannot fully protect. By the time you see bubbling on the outside, the internal structure is already on its way out. This set also uses hand-woven HDPE rattan with UV stability, so you avoid the cracking and fading you get with cheaper PVC rattan after strong summers.

The corner layout gives you seating for up to 8, with a proper dining table included so this works for lunch, drinks, or a long lazy evening in the garden. Seat cushions and back cushions are included, along with removable washable covers. The cushions are shower-proof rather than waterproof, and that’s deliberate — waterproof cushions can feel clammy, trap heat, and their coating can crack after a couple of summers in UV. All you need to do is store the cushions when they’re not in use and remove the covers for washing when needed.
