What is Rattan Furniture?
Synthetic Rattan looks and feels the same as natural rattan, but it has definite advantages as a construction material.
It is flexible but sturdy, and looks good year after year without drying, cracking, or peeling like natural rattan. Natural rattan can be coloured, but the pigments fade and disappear in the sun.
Our synthetic rattan has the pigment integrated into the whole of the strand, so it never needs painting, and keeps its beautiful colour, year after year after year.
Steel and iron rust, so we’ve chosen to engineer our furniture with light, resilient aluminium. It is strong, designed for durability and strength, and yet can easily be moved around and rearranged as desired.
